Kymm, who lives in an estate cottage lives half a mile from the stately home, specialises in traditional flowers such as dahlias, sweet peas, chrysanthemums and gladioli. She'll be selling them, together with arrangements, on Fridays and Saturdays at the shop.
She said: "My mother was the florist at Castle Howard for years, so a love of flowers is in my blood.
"I use my own, home-grown flowers wherever possible, so the carbon footprint is as low as it can be."
Castle Howard's award-winning farm shop specializes in local, fresh, seasonal produce. Access to it and other shops in the Stable Courtyard is free of charge and there is also free car parking. The Stable Courtyard is open daily throughout the year from 10am to 5pm.
