Judges' priase for bloom efforts - July 23, 2008

PICKERING was at its best on Monday afternoon for a visit by
judges from the Yorkshire in Bloom competition.
Although Pickering in Bloom chairman Janet Howard was
unable to be present, group members Paul Blakeley, Eileen
Beaumont and town Mayor Mal Danks joined judges Chris and
Jacqueline Smith from Bridlington, for their guided tour.

Mrs Howard said the town looked lovely and the comments
from the judges were positive. She praised the hard working In
Bloom group for their "brilliant" efforts.
