A MALTON-based developer has unveiled its plans for a new £5 million state-of-the-art office building.
Redworth Construction welcomed guests to an afternoon party to celebrate the start of work at Manor Park, Old Malton, yesterday.
Situated in a conservation area, the site comprises 27,000 sq ft of prime office development in five buildings - each with their own car parking and cycle bays - available on leasehold or virtual freehold.
The company plans to relocate from its offices at Leat House on Welham Road, Norton, to Manor Park once work is finished.
Andrew McBeath of Malton-based agents MPC Limited, said: "This is the first development of its kind in Ryedale and not surprisingly it has created a lot of interest from occupiers and investors. The design is stunning and the proximity to both Malton town centre and the A64 is a major selling point."
Redworth specialises in construction work for care homes, social housing and children's day nurseries across England and Scotland.
Over the past three months, it has secured seven contracts worth £26 million with bosses saying they are well on the way to their turnover target of £35 million for this year.
